Real Madrid's winger Extends Apology to Los Blancos Devotees

Vinicius Jr in action

Vinicius Jr has scored 5 goals in ten domestic competition outings this season.

Los Merengues forward Vinicius Jr has said sorry to fans for his conduct when substituted in the recent fiery Clasico clash victory.

The Brazilian was taken off in the 72nd min and showed his disappointment by going straight to the dressing room.

Vinicius subsequently came back to the bench and, after his club's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach Barça's Lamine Yamal during contentious final whistle exchanges.

"Now I want to apologise to all the Real Madrid fans for my reaction when I was taken off in the big match," the player shared on X.

"Just as I have said in person during today's practice, I wish to say sorry once more to my team-mates, the organization, and the club president.

"Occasionally passion overcomes me because I continuously aim to win and assist my club. My competitive character originates in the passion I feel for this institution and each thing it represents."

The player joined Real from his former club in 2018 for a significant fee and has notched over a century of strikes in numerous matches.

But his career in the Spanish capital is unclear with rumors in the past few months stating that Los Blancos would think about letting the 25-year-old leave if they got a appropriate bid.

When the winger was taken off on the match day, broadcast footage from coverage provider the service recorded him stating: "Always me! I'm exiting the club! It's better if I leave, I'm moving on."

In his new post on social media, Vinicius stated: "I promise to keep fighting at all times for the benefit of the club, as I have acted since the initial arrival."
